Did you know?
One Ton Of Recycled Paper Saves:
- 7,000 Gallons of Water
- 7,712 Gallons of Oil
- 60 Pounds of Air Pollutants
- 17 Trees
- 4,100 Kilowatts of Electricity
- 3 Cubic Yards of Landfill
By using a professional shredding contractor you are not just making financial savings, but you are also considerably helping our environment. At DGD, all material is collected, shredded on the same day, and later baled and shipped for recycling. This ensures total security, as it prevents thieves from ‘bin diving’ and retrieving confidential waste. It also allows for all material to be recycled as opposed to in-house shredding where not all waste may be disposed of correctly.
Organisations that participate in environmental sustainability can dramatically reduce the negative impact of waste on the environment, save trees and promote positive recycling as well as secure their documents and control breaches.
This is document shredding and environmental sustainability at its best.
DGD Shredding offers secure, sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions for document shredding and hard drive destruction. 100% of Paper, Cardboard and metal is recycled. The shredded paper is bailed and sent to paper mills to be recycled into toiletry products. We aim to recycle all the materials we handle. However, where materials cannot be recycled, they are sent for waste-to-energy processes.
